Garbage

So my favorite foods are.....goldfish and captain crunch!! Why can't I be obsessed with carrots or celery! I always love a bowl of berries to end the day with.

Almost finished!

Finished work feels GREAT!!! We finished the big pillows for our bed! They were a lot of fun, I'm glad they turned out the way they did! Also I finally found horizontal plate racks at Hobby Lobby. So we hung our pictures and our blue plates. (That wall isn't done yet) This Lady in our ward gave us our Horrocks sign.

 My New Shelf That I painted

Our Bedroom is almost done! I painted the shelf!! I stained it dark color, then primed it, sprayed the yellow, antiqued it, then put a clear coat. Also I found some more things to put with it. We went to Homegoods and found these fabulous lamps. They are green Paisley and I was instantly hooked. Andrew was sweet enough to get them. They make our room look so homey I love it! Now We just need to finish the throw pillows. Im So excited!!

Parade of Homes

Now that I'm totally obsessed with decorating, I tortured myself by going to the Parade of homes. This year they had an "Up" house and it was totally cute! Looked just like the movie and they even had an old man and a little boy that looked like the characters outside in the front! I took pictures of some of the rooms. The little boys room was Toy Story and he little girls was cinderella. I loved the pictures hanging above the bed, I want to do that in my house! upstairs in the nursey they had the wall painted like the big balloon. My favorite was the kitchen, they had old school appliances. It was adorable!!
In the other houses I was only obsessed with on thing.....they made a shelf above the molding. I'm inspired!

~Pioneer Day~

July 24th is one of the best weekends! Saturday we went swimming and watched the 6th and 7a of the Harry Potters, then went to see the 9:55 showing of the 7b. Sunday went downtown and slept over on the parade route.

WE.....

Scootered around to find some friends.

Ate Big Daddys pizza at 1am,

Fell asleep to Joshua Radin.

Woke up to Sprinklers.

Watched the motivated people finish the 5K.

Ate donuts and banana bread.

Tried to keep our eyes open for the last of the floats.

Made Garbage hash.

Enjoyed a 5 hour nap.

Then onto the Bees Game for Fireworks!

It was a really ENJOYABLE weekend!

Decorating is fun to do, fun to do!

Lately I have been wondering if Nursing is the career I should go into. Because I LOVE to decorate! So maybe if I was using my skills to help others, It would help Andrews wallet!
So We are working on decorating our bedroom. I had no clue what to do, and for me its unusual. Andrew and I finally picked colors to work with! Our bedspread is cream and gray, and our furniture is black. So We decided that we need some color to liven things up. Green and Yellow. I have some things left from the wedding that we want to incorporate into the room. I am on the look out for some lamps to go on our nightstands. I bought black ones with white shades, yuck!! it was like we lived in a Gothic house. So I want COLOR! I have been looking on KSL for a small shelf to hang on the wall. No luck, until Friday!  I was on my way home and thought I should try the DI just for good measure. Sure enough I found the perfect size, AND it was unfinished! So I can paint it whatever color I choose. It was only $3, I was pretty proud of myself! (: I have bought three things to use on my shelf and can't wait to get started! Rod Works is my place right now. They have the cutest little odds and ends that would look great in my room!
